Bushby-Highness Family Portraits
by Julie Hamilton | in Portraits

Damion and I had the true pleasure of photographing the Bushby-Highness family recently.  They are such a beautiful family, not just in their outward appearance, but in their shared love and respect for each other.  You'll see, in the short hour we were there, we took lots of pictures and had tons of fun.   Leah & Tanner might look familiar to you, their engagement session was on our blog a few months back.  It you haven't seen it, click HERE!  It was a great opportunity for us to get to know the family even better (as we'll be spending more time together next year ;)

Susan, Rick, Marisa, Adam, Tanner, Leah & Josh:  Thank you for making our day brighter and filling it with more laughter.  You are all beautiful people and we look forward to sharing a future with you all!  Many blessings to you all, Damion & Julie

ENJOY!!!

First Round of Mini's!
by Julie Hamilton | in Portraits

I would say our first round of mini-portrait sessions for 2009 was a smashing success!  Damion found a beautiful location in Yountville, CA to take portraits of these special families who came from the surrounding areas, all the way up from San Jose and even from Sacramento to have their portraits taken.  Damion really enjoyed capturing the uniqueness of each family and getting to know them each on a deeper level.  He just has a way with capturing images that communicate the beauty of each person and each family! I think you'll agree with me that the results were spectacular!

If you missed this round, don't be disappointed.  We have great news for you--we currently have two other dates set for our mini-portrait sessions.  If you're in So Cal, the next date for mini-sessions is Sat, Nov 7th.  If you're in Nor Cal, the next date for mini-sessions is Sat, Nov 28.  Quick details:30 minutes of photography time + (1) high resolution image of your choice delivered via email. You meet us at OUR location.  That's it! If you would like more information or would like to book a mini-session, please contact us at julie@hiscreations.com  Don't forget that we also offer portrait sessions at YOUR location on YOUR date.

Here are a few of our favorites:

Denise + Frank = A beautiful wedding!
by Damion Hamilton, Julie Hamilton | in Weddings

After spending some time with Denise & Frank at their engagement shoot, we knew we were in for a fun time going to this wedding!  Franky, ever the entertainer, was sure to keep his promises of getting laughs from all and Denise was as beautiful and lovely as could be.  Things got off to a rocky start due to a flat tire on the way to the ceremony, but you can see from these images that they didn't let that stand in their way of enjoying their day!  It's true that for most weddings that at least one thing will go wrong, but if you are planning your wedding remember this -- at the end of the day, you will be joined together with the one you love and that is what counts! Your guests will most likely not even realize that anything has happened behind the scenes.  So, just let it go and enjoy your day!! Denise and Frank were a great example of this!

To Denise and Franky, thanks for letting us be a part of this day with you!  We appreciate how you welcomed us with open arms, as a part of your family and friends!  We pray that this marriage brings you both much joy and many blessings!!  Hope to see you soon! Love, Damion and Julie

I guess somebody was feeling a little *shy*

Officially married now!

Quite possibly my very favorite image!

Can you say..."SWEET LIGHT!"

Ha! You can tell Franky's being a little dramatic here...by the look on HER face!
