Hello everyone!

Just want to encourage you that NOW is the time to start thinking about the family portraits that you want to send out with those holiday cards! Don't wait until December to start thinking about it...that doesn't give you enough to time to get those cards in the mail for the holidays.

Today we are announcing two new dates for our Mini-Portrait Sessions! **Sun, Oct 11** Please contact us right away at julie@hiscreations.comif you are interested in this date! We are down to the wire and have opened up a few more sessions for this date!

Welcome Natalie Marie Wiersma!
by Julie Hamilton | in Birth Photography

Well, here she is! We have long awaited the birth of this beautiful girl, Natalie Marie!  What a moment to treasure! Birth photography is the perfect way to capture those precious moments forever--they only happen once!  With that in mind, we knew that Angie had been in labor all day on Tuesday, so we went to bed on Tues night waiting for the phone call that Natalie was ready to make her appearance.  On Wednesday morning, the 23rd, I woke up at 4:45 a.m. so dissapointed, sure we had somehow missed the birth of the baby.  Texted Angie....her water has just broken and she was dilated to a 9.5!  I woke up Damion, he threw on some clothes (don't want to go in your PJs!) and got to the hospital as fast as he could.  By the time he arrived, Angie was already pushing!  Just two pushes later and this beautiful baby girl was brought into our world.

WARNING:  I am issuing a 5TA.  That is a Five Tissue Alert, the highest rating for the large amount of tears you might be likely to shed while watching this slideshow (with the sound up!).  This means that you should be prepared with AT LEAST five tissues...and for you parents that have baby girls, you may need even more!

Just to explain a little, our view on births is that Damion doesn't take any pictures that you wouldn't want your grand kids to see, so in these birth images, you will see nothing icky or yucky, just the wonderfulness!

Rick and Angie, what a beautiful baby girl.  She is made so much more precious by knowing how long this little one has been in your hearts and the patience that you have shown in waiting for all of God's plans to unfold.  Many blessings to you all!

Without further ado, here is little Natalie...

Charlie & Ambar's Wedding
by Julie Hamilton | in Weddings

Beautiful, elegant, old mansion.  Crisply kept grounds with old stone walls and clean florals lining the 200 foot bridal aisle.  A ceremony in the round, with Charlie and Ambar's place right in the middle.  A saxophone solo from Charlie just for the bride.  These were some of the features that made Charlie and Ambar's wedding at the Ambassador Campus in Pasadena such a special and unique day.  We had never been to this mansion before, but it was so gorgeous! The details in this place were amazing and the antique aura of the place drew us in.  It was so nice to share this beautiful day documenting Charlie and Ambars wedding ceremony and reception.  It was just one of those moments that was full of emotional electricity, as they had been waiting for this special time for so long.  I loved seeing the mutual love and admiration that Charlie and Ambar's families share with one another and Charlie and Ambar as well and how they were at such peace with one another.

Charlie & Ambar, thank you so much for sharing these precious moments of your lives with us!  It was such a pleasure for us to witness this day along side you.  We hope that you have many, many, many years ahead of blessings and fruitfulness in your marriage and lives! Here are a few of our favorite images, but be sure to click on the link to watch the slideshow!!

Getting ready...

One just couldn't escape the beauty in this place, even down to the antique painted doors.

Just before Charlie & Ambar saw each other for the first time (First Look)...

Their unique ceremony arrangment.  Bride & Groom stood on the bridge, literally surrounded by family and friends...

(Imagine walking down that aisle in heels...you were great Ambar! (and girls too!)

A precious moment...
