Happy Valentine's Day

On this beautiful Valentine's Day, it makes me so happy to realize that we are in the business of preserving love!  Whether it's a sweet flame between a couple or the love that envelops each member of your family, we have the privilege of capturing that expression and saving it forever.  How wonderful to be in the business of love!

8 Year Old Portraits

You know the old saying about the cobblers children who don't have shoes.  Well, let's just say that the 8th birthday passed last JUNE, but we are finally (YES!) getting around to doing Miranda's pictures! Miranda chose the places that she wanted to go..from the dirty, downtown alleys of Ontario up to the streams of Mt. Baldy and she worked hard modeling for a couple of hours!  She is such a trooper and went along with all the crazy stuff her parents asked her to do, (although nothing was too crazy!).  I love how these photos turned out and we are very proud of the young lady that Miranda is and is becoming.  We are so blessed to have beautiful, intelligent, and healthy children who have the world in front of them.  Nothing is impossible!  We love you and are very proud of you Miranda, Love Mommy and Daddy 

Sorry there are so many images...it's so hard to choose my favorites.  I think we're going to have to do an entire book instead :) 

 

 

We always try to capture the individuality of each person and their passions, so this was fitting as Miranda loves to write songs!

Joy X 2!!

For a couple of months now, we've been so thrilled that our very own beautiful bride and groom from last year, Stacey and Jacob, are expecting their own Little Creation!  We are so excited and looking forward to the day when we can capture portraits of their growing family!  I've included a few of our favorite images from their engagement session at the beach and their wedding here! You can see that Stacey and Jacob are so fun and love to laugh together.  We think they're going to be awesome parents!  Congratulations Stacey and Jacob on your bundle of joy!!  We can't wait to see how much joy this little one will bring into your lives, even more than is already there! These guys are going to make a beautiful baby, wouldn't you agree? I can just imagine how much energy and cheer this little one will have!

 AND THEN, just last night we found our that another one of our clients and close friends are expecting a baby too!!!!  On our trip to Africa in 2005 with RIck and Angie, we saw a little spark of something between them (as did others) and thought that they would be a pretty awesome match, even though they didn't think it themselves.  We've known Rick and Angie since we were all teenagers and it has been a journey filled with much joy to see them eventually marry and now...(can't type with tears in my eyes...) this is wonderful news!!!  It's one more blessing on this journey of life and we are so grateful for this Little Creation. Congratulations to you both and your families!  I cannot wait to see this little blessing and hold he or she in my arms....To celebrate, here are a few of my favorite images from Rick and Angie's engagement and wedding.
