Last week's wedding has a long history that we've been privileged to be a part of! We've been friends with Rick and Angie for a very long time and were blessed to photograph their love as it blossomed. After knowing each other for almost 20 years, it (finally!) took Rick and Angie less than 1 year to go from friends to husband and wife. Although I must give credit to everyone else who suspected the romantic possibilities, I HAVE to put down in writing that Damion and
I saw something growing (that they didn't realize :) two years ago on our trip to Africa when Rick and Angie BOTH had to sit together on the Emergency Exit row so that they could have more leg room....and enjoyed it!
Are these not the cutest three flowergirls you have EVER seen? They were the sweetest, carrying "kissing balls" and were so good on stage too! And just in case you didn't notice, Miranda is on the right! (We haven't posted photos of our kids for so long...here's one with more coming soon!)
You'll notice the red rose in these pictures, Ah, the rose, romantic story here too. Angie had her big beautiful bridal bouquet ready to carry, but Rick has 1 red rose delivered to her before the wedding began. To honor him, Angie choose to carry the single red rose down the aisle and gave her bridal bouquet to her sister, Melissa, to carry. sniff, sniff..... :)
One important aspect of their wedding, was that Rick and Angie paid tribute to many of the special couples in their lives, from choosing married couples to be their attendants and having them stand together, to asking Pastors Dave and Viv to perform the ceremony. We were very touched by the way in which they honored so many on this most special day.
Thanks Rick and Ang for being such wonderful friends and for letting us capture your special day. You are truly two of the neatest people that we know and you both deserve the very best...and God has brought that to you in each other. May His blessings rest upon you in all that you put your hand to!
Here's a sneak peek at a few of our favorite images, but make sure you click here to check out
